Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 or Zuiko 15-54mm mkII?

I am in the market to buy a new zoom lens for less than $500. I am looking at 2 lenses, a new sigma 18-50mm ex zoom lens ($420), or a new zuiko 15-54mm mkII 2.8-3.5. ($500) Which of these would you recommend? What is the reason for the price difference ($80 difference in quality?)

That would be the 14-54mm mk2..

Sigma isn't in the same league image or build quality wise. Nor is it "dust & drip proof"

Zuiko always seems to have the most odd, but appealing focal lengths!

I dont really have anything to add..but I just thought Id get that out there..
