I am looking for faster zooms. The price on each of these is right at $380 & $890 from adorama.com since I can in now way justify spending $$$ on Nikon lenses of similar range. http://www.adorama.com/SG247028NNK.html http://www.adorama.com/SG70200MNKAF.html At one point I was looking the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 but I had read story after story about front-focus problems with them. Does anyone know if that has been resolved by Sigma on current production stuff and has anyone read about similar issues with the two lenses above? I am not stuck on Sigma (although I have had nothing but good experiences with the two I have) so I am open to any suggestions for Tokina or Tamron in similar ranges. Thanks, Greg
Well, I have both of these lenses and am very happy with each. I use both of them for wedding photography and the 24-70 gets an extra work out for many portraits. Both are very good lenses.
Hate to but in but what about the Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-f/4, I was thinking about that to go with my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8? Or is the 24-70 much better?
