Signs 2

I did a B&W thread back in January 2014 with a series of signs that I photographed. Well after processing photos from a recent trip to Virginia for work and getting some time to visit Harper's Ferry, WV, I noticed I had another set of signs and thought I would share them.

1) The weathered look of this one caught my eye and the b&w conversion just made it better to me.



2) I just like the festive cheer that this one brings. Oh and who wouldn't want to eat at Canonball restaurant?



3) This one had some good color but when playing with a b&w conversion, I really liked how the name and logo stood out.

Nice series Ron, 'though I find the Appalachian Trail sign a bit out of place for some reason. I like your title idea, but the sign doesn't seem to fit with the group.

I totally see your point, John. I just noticed the signs I had from the trip and posted them all. I may just have to keep on working on a project of signs like the other 3.


NOTE: I removed that photo from the set to make it fit together better.
