Silent

This is a wood carving my uncle made which is one of so many he left behind. He is no longer with us but his talented work brings back all the great memories.
He called this one "silent". It is of a pregnant young lady keeping a blessing to herself.

Excellent history, great carving, and great shot. I would perhaps have put the subject on the other side of the frame so as to be facing the center of the shot. Otherwise, a pretty decent shot!

Agree with Montana's observation. I would also like to see more contrast between the subject and background.

I sometimes think/wonder - well, when I leave, I will have left tangible pieces of myself that others can remember me by...
