Silhouette at Sunset

Near Fossil Creek Reservoir a few miles from my home in Windsor, Colorado.

I really like this shot. The faint hint of the sunrise/set at the bottom is great and this tree has a lot of character. Only suggestion I can think of would be to get the whole branches on the right hand side in the frame if you could since the left hand and top brances are there in entirety.

 

Thanks, Alison. The tree unfortunately is merging with another tree on the right side, so there would be no separation.

dam! why do'nt we ever get sunsets like that where i come from, that is a very nice shot..

 

I really like this. I think it would be perfect if the tree wasn't cut off though.
