I saw the sun pouring in my front room today. There was a little silver cat ornament ontop of the piano and I thought I had to take some pictures! I focused on the shadows more, as they were very interesting and the silver glared a lot.

Love the color in the first. The multiple shadows are awesome.

Try cropping the right side off one of the later ones to see how you like it. Just the shadows on the white background, no silver cat or dark background. :)
 
The third photo is the most intriguing for me. All the elements seemingly come together. I immediately think of the Wizard of Oz. (that may be a little far fetched). I get the feeling he is in some creepy hallway. The shadows are perfectly exposed. The photo could use greater DOF, but in this instance it is only a minor detail.
 
Interesting and different, Can't make my mind up which I prefer between the first and third because I like them for different reasons.
