Most of the lens flare is ok. But Id get rid of those two balls of light at 7 oclock from the sun.

Thanks. Interesting choice without the extra lens flare.

It should be noted (or at least it will be noted) that my friend was shrieking hysterically at me to "HURRY UP!!!" while I was attempting to take the picture, because he's afraid of the dark. (Failed to tell me that on the way UP the mountain..) Oh well; what are friends for if not to shriek hysterically at you while performing a delicate task?

Yep. This is what happens when you bracket a sunset shot directly into the sun at +3/-3 with a fog bank rolling in (with your friend screaming at you to hurry up,) then process using both the Details Enhancer and Tone Compressor modes in Photomatix, yielding two images which are then blended together in Photoshop. It seemed 'dishonest' to submit this as a landscape since it was manipulated using HDR techniques.
