A number of people are unfamiliar with the elements and principles of design. Just thought I'd throw in a tidbit, you know, for the newbs who have never studied either design or composition in any formal way.

Derrel, the overriding idea of the photo is the fact that I can not stand cats. Literally - I can not stay in a room with a cat for more than 10 min. I have a strong allergy. Therefore I hate these little buggers. So to compensate for the lack of cat shots (and I consider shooting cats a true sign of a photographic cul-de-sac anyway) , I decided to deal with the "cats" subject once and for all.

What I like about the shot is that there is a repetition that does not create pattern As opposed to a pattern that does not create repetition :scratch:

Do not tell anyone - I did not count them. I just like how this number sounds. To be honest I was waiting for someone to count. Sooner or later there will be one..

*sigh* Yes, I counted them this afternoon.

You actually came really close. If you count the cats that are cut off around the edge of the frame, I got 70.
