size for promo?

i need to make a cd of my best people/lifestyle pictures to give to an organization that wants to see my work and possibly hire me for an event. but to avoid image theft and other problems. what size is a good export size thats big enough to enjoy the image but small enough so that it cant really be used or printed for anything?

1024x683 is the size I make all my promo photos. I also bump down the quality on the photos (using .jpg format) so I can fit more on a disk. My photos also have my photography logo in %17 grey with %50 opacity in the lower right corner of the photo. Easily seen, but never intrusive at all. Here is a promo photo I pulled off my Flickr page.

800px on the longest edge should be sufficient.
