Tulip festival...a really photogenic thing. We have one here in the Willamette Valley, called the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. I might go out there this coming Sunday to assist on an engagement shoot.

Thanks for the comments everybody. The first time I shot one of those looking up at the flowers with the sky in the background, I knew it was a winner.

Beautiful! #4 and #7 are the winners for me.

The closest tulip farm to me is in RI called Wicked Tulips. Last I checked they were not open yet. Crop is late this year. Winter is hanging on tight here in New England. I was planning to go down there but my timing may be off. When I get back from Ireland I’ll have to see what the blooms look like.

My grandmother used to grow nothing but tulips in her flower garden so they became my favorite, love the variety of colors with them.
