Nice picture.
In my opinion there is too much elements on the photo, they distract me a little, i would have made a different crop, probably removing the bottom part of the picture. But i am no pro hehe
I like the shadow on the wall behind! What light did you use there?

Thanks for the feedback. I used 2 off-camera flashes. A Canon 580 EX II and a yonguo YN565.

I actually quite like the background and whatnot the litter and what not are a bit distracting, but I can dig it. Another thing is to me IMO it seems like the flash on him is just a hair too hot that just may be me though.

I like it though! glad to see another skate photographer!

Very cool shot. Looks like a photo playground I would enjoy shooting. Looks like it might have been dark out which probably means it was hard for the skater to do his thing, especially after being flashed.

I agree with what the other posters said about the composition. With so much going on, the skater doesn't instantly jump out as the main subject. A cool shot would have been to find a shot where the shadow was the subject and the skater isn't actually seen. Just a thought, but no pro.

Nice. But more than a 3rd of the shot is wasted pixels (black, and detail within the black lost)
