The selective coloring in the second one really throws me off. For skate photography, i would recommend a much less traditional approach: more off-centered framing and a more original point of view.

Not so much a fan of the first photo. Keep shooting, you'll end up with something outstanding.

I don't dig them only cause you can't really apply selective coloring to skate photos. It's to artsyy for a sport photograph.
