Hi Guys

Finally I want to buy a slr camera. But I'm really interested into making time lapse movies. I'm surprised that many cams don't have a time trigger function included and you need to buy external triggers. Anyway which cam would you recommend me? Preferable Nikon, Canon... thanks

Nikon D200, D300, D700, D3 and D3x have it. How deep is your wallet?

There are things like the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Canon-TC80N3-Remote-Control-Cameras/dp/B00009XVA3/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1242990652&sr=8-1"]TRC-80N3[/ame] and there are compatible 3rd-party timers from Opteka, Satechi, etc.

You can get aftermarket remotes with this functionality for $40 from ebay. Failing that you could tether nearly every camera to a laptop and get this functionality too.

You're not really limited by camera choice in this case, though the Nikons that Jerry mentioned can natively do this in camera and it works fantastically.
