Some good shooting there. Looks like the light was pretty decent today where you were at. I liked the first waxwing shot, and thought the "scene" of the great blue heron was simply lovely--I simply LOVED the backdrop in that!!!! I enjoy your posts.

thanks, it was pretty cloudy, sometimes totally overcast, but as long as im not shooting at the sky i like that. nice even light. but i did use a little flash with a better beamer with all of them except the osprey. the green heron the flash seemed to bring out some of those colors in birds feathers, to the eye the bird almost looked black when no light was on it. also the blue heron also got a little flash to keep the back ground a bit darker and exposed the bird a bit more.
