Smart Previews with 2 computers / LR

Hello,

I am wondering if or what the best way would be to implement my laptop into my workflow occasionally.

I have the Photographers $9.99 Adobe CC plan on my desktop and this is my main workstation. I do have a paid for installation of stand alone LR5 copy on my laptop I had before moving to a desktop and getting CC.

What I would like to do is occasionally pickup working on a project on my laptop after importing to my main catalog, mostly for culling and flagging.


Is there a way to do this similar to how Lightroom mobile works? Tell Lightroom / CC to send the smart previews to my laptop to work as an extension of my main system?

I don't think Adobe has provided a way to do that between two regular computers. Only between a regular computer and the mobile Lightroom on a tablet.

As a side note you can also install your Adobe CC on your laptop. No reason to have the two computers on different versions of Lightroom.
