A cute picture, and well exposed except for the shadow on his face; (a little fill-flash would have been helfpful here).

I like the bright blue and red, but the background rather detracts from it, and leaves me feeling that I am looking at a snapshot rather than a photograph. Perhaps a reshoot with a shallower DoF to blur the background and keep focus on the main subject?
