My brother-in-law was an obsessive compulsive.

He would stand up in the middle of a movie, straighten his jumper or shirt for 2 or 3 minutes then sit down again. He'd do this about 4 or 5 times during a film!

He used to have a thing about mud on his shoes and would check them every time he went inside a house or car. Not so bad except this got so compulsive he started checking his shoes when he left houses too!:er:
