A couple: Why the horizontal aspect? This is after all essentially a portrait, so why not shoot in vertical/portrait orientation and lose the empty space to the sides? You have almost none of the bear in sharp focus; it looks like the intended point of focus was just below the nose, but DoF appears to be in the order of an inch or less. Next time, consider shooting from further back and/or using a shorter FL to acheive greater DoF. Lastly, the image is very noisy; you were at ISO 800 which seems to be at the high end for your body, consider dropping this down to a more reasonable 200 and adding some supplemental light. Since Bruno isn't moving, you can use almost any light-source, even a common desk-lamp. Keep shooting!
