Smoke Photography Take 3

Camera: Nikon D5000
Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/5.6
Lens: 18.0-55.0 mm f/3.5-5.6
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

May I ask why you are at ISO 400?
I'm still seeing a fair bit of grain in the smoke...
I was able to get similar results with less grain at 100 ISO with just a single speedlight.

Right yeah, I fixed that, I just haven't uploaded the fixed one to FlickR.

So why not turn the flashgun to full power and drop the ISO?

5 second recycle vs. grainy images.

In my opinion the answer is clear, but it's your decision.

That is so cool, I've been meaning to try this myself! How many shots did this take to get?
