Trying to keep my resolution to try some of the photo projects I've read about but never attempted. This one involved an off camera flash and shooting in near darkness. Had to be creative because I didn't have a remote trigger for the flash and couldn't use my on camera flash to trigger the other. Set the shutter speed on 1.3 and had my daughter manually trigger the flash right after I hit the shutter. F13, ISO 100. Getting decent results was much harder than I expected. We used incense but the smoke was uncooperative and the room quickly got pretty hazy which required a break and airing out. Managed to get a few shots that were in focus and relatively interesting. Inverted the results and added the color. Suggestions for improvement always welcome!

Wow, just switched over to my tablet and the colors are completely different than what was on my laptop. I also see a lot of the white blank space needs to be cleaned up...

I really love the shapes that the smoke makes, but did you push your saturation slider all the way up? The colours in there appear blocky and pixelated as if it's just been pushed to the max.

I think they would benefit from having much more subtle colours. Less is almost always more :)

Yes you are right, too much. They looked so much better on my cheap old low res laptop. But on my new tabletc the colors look awful. I'll have to try again on the editing. Thanks for the feedback.
