Sneakin up on sleeping dog

I was playing with apature still not sure what it does on the photo but thought this kidna looked funny... I had th4e iso up to high so it got some noise I didn’t even know so that’s the sad thing...

Your apature effects the deapth of field. See how the dog's bottom half is blurry? A bigger numbered apature would have resulted in the whole dog being in focus.

For what it's worth - nice use of apature. Having just his cute ol' head in focus makes it a nicer shot.

I think your DOF is perfect in this one. I really like the shallow focus for up close pictures of animals for some reason and this one takes the cake.
