Was not aware shooting snow falling that was backlit, well kinda backlit, would look like this. Kinda neat.

PRETTY COOL, EH??? Nicely done! I like the second one a bit more for its uniform illumination across the frame. Is this a Canon 50/1.8 shot???

I like the second as well, not sure why...maybe it is the illumination...dunno.

how'd ya guess? lol, yeah, nifty fifty. I did hit the popup flash on it as well (forgot I used it...lol), there was a large motion light to the upper right back about 15 feet.

The 5-side diaphragm I figured would belong to 1) an ancient Hassle-blad lens (NOT likely at all on TPF!) or 2) the Nifty-Fifty!!! Not many lenses have that pentagonal diaphragm shape these days.

Thanks, something about that first one just makes me want to stare at it. At first when scrolling through I was like "eh..neat" but when I revisit it I find myself staring at it.
