Awesome as always, but it is a tricolored heron and 1 green heron

yeah i was wrong on the tricolor thought it was a little blue. did know the green heron, also crowned night heron in there

I must admit they are even better on a big screen(I only had my phone earlier)! Really fantastic set! #1 is really perfect, great BG, great lighting and tack sharp!

thanks, #1 is my favorite of the day. i was lucky i grabbed that flight shot

all where shot with d800 and 500mm f4 and 1.4x teleconverter and my manfrotto monopod with tilt head. at 5.6, 6.3 or f8. was not using flash this time

The egrets and herons should be back here soon. I do spend a good amount of time with them. I cant wait for the glossy Ibis to come back. I had a really difficult time last year getting a good shot..

wow didnt know ibis went that far

Awesome, as usual. Especially love #1 and #5--he looks like he's dancing a little jig for you!

#2--is that the Woodstork? Never saw one of those, but I gotta say, that thing gives the turkey vulture a run for "b*tt-ugly bird" prize.

I saw a black-crowned night heron for the first time ever yesterday! Unfortunately, it was as I was leaving, I was already on the road out of the wildlife area (a narrow little gravel road) AND I was running late to meet someone and take pictures of their daughter, so all I could do was roll the window down and try to grab a few shots through the bushes before someone came down the road and I had to move on. They didn't turn out well at all. Hoping I'll see another soon, along with the egrets, glossy ibis, little blues, etc this place is supposed to have. Maybe if I wasn't so busy tracking the Ospreys and the Eagles... :D
