Love the second one. There are a couple of Snowy Owls at the zoo here, and they are really interesting birds. I'd love to see one in the wild.

#2 is awesome might have to make a road trip up that way, unless they come down here.. I'm very jealous, nice work..

Wish they came this far south....nice set.

Thanks. Ya this guy started showing up around here in the last week or so.

I saw this on Facebook earlier shared from New England News images. :) Very nice! I did some snowy owl prowls last year at Duxbury with Mass Audubon, can't wait to do more this year, and saw Norman Smith release the one at Plum Island with the tracker. That one's back in MA but not at Duxbury I don't think. Did you see Greg Lessard's exhibit down at the North River Sanctuary?

#2 is very special ......i like everything about it ....Great job.

Whoa ...just noticed My son lives in Scituate on Turner Rd

Thanks. No I didn't see the exhibit. I did get up to Plum Island last February to get some pictures. This one didn't have any markings from Norman Smith.

Thats cool. I've lived here 50 plus years, born and raised.

I would definitely hang number 2 on my wall.

Wow, the second picture is amazing. I can't stop looking at it.

#2 is great....any suggestions on finding them? there are supposedly a number of indigenous owls around where I live, but I don't think I've EVER seen one...

Nice shots - is it the same owl. We have had the usual initial fall/winter sightings here on the prairies, so I will be going out to look for some when I have a free afternoon. That second shot is great, but it is a little fuzzy around the edges. Also, if you know how to use the "Content Aware" functionality in Photoshop, you should be able to remove that grass across its face very easily.
