Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm a newb here but have a fairly extensive portfolio. Basically, I'm looking for a new home to chat about one of my passions. I like what I've seen so far.

Part of what I shoot is artistic nudes. I don't see a place for that but see some "NSFW" tags on posts in the People forum. I also see in the sticky from a few years ago that says "Please do NOT post photos or links to photographs that contain graphic nudity."

Can someone clarify this for me? I don't want to step over any lines here.

Thanks for any input.

I agree (and not because Im a guy). I think there should be a place for it here. If its artsy, Im all for it. I dont care for much for that other stuff as far as images go. If you are selective about what you post, Im sure most will enjoy your work. Its not like we have not seen a nipple of 2 on here in the past. And if people dont want to take notice of content warnings and are offended by what they see, then thats their bad luck. No one made them look.

Well, I would think there's a difference between "graphic nudity" and "artisitic nudes"!?

And as long as you make sure in your title that your photos shown might not be safe to be looked at at work or not ideal to be viewed with children watching over your shoulder, and your photos are artistic and not "graphic nudity", then you are quite welcome to post them. If they were made for clients, you may also go into The Professional Gallery and post them there.

I tend to believe the line between "artistic nude" and "graphic nude" to be quite broad there is a lot out there that isn't graphic at all but is FAR from being artistic.

Basically, be careful, and only post the very best. Artistic nudes are generally well received, so long as you put a warning in the title.

I'm pretty sure as long as you're not posting downright porn the mods will be understanding for a while at least.
