We had many names for them when I was growing up, none of which are politically correct any more, so I'll go with the least offensive of, "Go Aheads With Retreads."

We called them thongs innthe 60s and 70s...my son who is now 17 was repulsed when I called them thongs.

"Jeeze, Dad, they're called flip-flops!," he protested. That was probably 10 years ago.

I just had to buy new ones because the puppy ate another one (3rd this year - when will I learn?). If she would eat a right foot instead of always eating the left, I could match up half pairs!
