A few years back, I was on a mission to take pics of every color mushroom I could find. I think my favorite was a bright blue one. You've given me hope for another year like that.

Nice one. I'm surprised sometimes with the variety and speed with which they will suddenly appear in our yards. Have a life long friend who harvests them from the woods, but I was always to chicken. Afraid I'd pick the wrong ones and be swinging from the trees or dead.

An old employer was given last rights after eating some that his Vietnamese neighbors were harvesting every day. Apparently they were not consuming theirs! He survived the ordeal.
