Of course! it ain't real until you see it on a 3x2" screen. The modern equivalent of "if a tree falls in the forest, and there's no-one to hear it, did it really happen?" updated to " if it wasn't snapped by a smartphone, did it really exist?"

forget the photo that painting is amazing. I think I would take if off the wall and see if I could fit it under my jacket some how..

That is 'Square of St Mark's' by Giovanni Canal, known as Canaleto, an 18th century Italian painter in the National Gallery
