Some backyard macro shots

All taken on a bustling morning in my backyard. C&C welcome.

This guy was tiny he's actually next to a slug which wasn't very large itself.

blech! lol (but only bc they're bugs!)

I'm no critic, but the frog one (other than its eyes being so crisp) doesn't do much for me!
The bug shots though... geez, they're detailed; you can pet them like a house cat!

I think that those ones are great!
What settings/equipment were you using on these macro shots, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks! To be honest my setup is nowhere near professional, I use a Kodak Playsport zx3 handheld video camera with a magnetic macro lens attachment. I actually take video of these critters using the macro lens and then remove the best frames from the high def video as my stills. As an amateur it works but, plans for more professional gear are in the works.
