Some DC flower pictures

a few pictures from the past two weekends in DC. #1 and #4 are my favorites of the group

thanks for the feedback. I had cropped #4 differently which I liked better but didn't post that one, I removed some of the area of the left of the picture to make it more overall yellow to express the lone red tulip sticking up.

fire away, cant hurt my feelings. but I guess that was kind of the point of the shot. there were a very large group of tulips, all full grown yellow ones...and a single red runt trying to stick its head up and be part of the group. at least that's the feeling I was trying to portray with the photo...which I obviously failed at!

It's a perfectly fine idea but it needs some work.

which lens did you use and did you try some other angles?

100mm macro. I think I got another shot or two at different angles, etc. will look on my pc

I like 1, 2 and 4. Number 3 seems a little yellow for me. #4 has great color but I would like to see the red stand up more not being blocked by the rest. I really like the composition of #2.
