Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I recently sold a few lens and got some primes that i will use for difficult shooting location and travelling.

First, i sold a 50 1.8D i had laying around and got the 1.8G. i must say its a great performer, alot better than the af-d.
Then i got a nikon 24 af-d 2.8 and got a nikon 85 1.8 af-d. Hauling my nikon 85 1.4 g around everywhere, especially in vacation was not the best, the 85 a-fd is so much smaller and weight less, perfect for travelling.

So after buying these 3 lenses, i used them in studio with a client to test them.

1. 50 1.8 af-g, natural light.

Pretty girl and nice set (of photos! pervs... lol).

Only suggestion would be for the first, maybe an angle slightly more from the side of her would look better. She kind of looks like she has no legs.

She's very beautiful, indeed. #3 is gorgeous!

I like the first one the best in terms of lighting. It's nice and constant without any hot spots.

On the closer photos the lighting seems like it was too frontal and too...direct. There are various places of differing brightness such as in number 4 where the top half of her head is brighter than her lips down.

And in the last one it seems that maybe there is a tiny hint of ghoul lighting going on. There's a shadow under her eye that suggests that the light source was lower closer to the plane of her face instead of higher to get rid of those shadows.

Just little things but they bug me lol.

THOSE ARE THE MOST AMAZING............EYES..............EVER.

Thanks for your reply.

As far as lighting goes for the 3 white background shots, I used 2 bare strobes on the background at f13, and 2 strip box on each side of her at F11 and shot at F9 with the ring flash camera mounted for fill, on that last shot, i definitely shot from a lower angle as this is the way i shoot my 3/4 and full body shots. lower to the ground.

That ring flash creates some harsh light but i kinda like it :)

i shot this a few weeks ago with the same lighting setup.

ring flash only and a 50mm.
