I love each of these, esp. the DoF of the first and second pictures.
I also like the effect of Sepia on these... What kind of camera do you use?

the first shot is excellent! i like how you can sort of see his drawing... and with the DOF, the bridge/background almost looks like a drawing in itself... very good stuff, and welcome to the site

Thanks Guys,
LittleMan, I shot the top image with a nikon5000 P&S, and the mimes were through a canon elan7e on ilford hp5 film.

My thoughts exactly!!!

Though I've never been to Florence, I would assume what we see in the first photo is an often photographed motif. You, however, Allan, manage to make it unique, non-cliché, very atmospheric, and, as Jess said: timeless.

Your other two photos give us a glimpse of the individuality or uniqueness (whichever is the more appropriate word here) your photo series from your trip to Florence must have!
