Exactly just that. It's got me wondering now, if humans are so much smarter than animals and we can make dumb mistakes then surely animals are gifted with the same propensity.

That's just scary as hell and since it stalked him for almost 10 minutes with the man clearly in it's view I have more doubt about it's attack being a case of mistaken identity.
