I think you should include some more of the ground. The low vantage point and having only sky in the background makes jumps look bigger but these guys go huge... give the viewer even more clues as to just how big. Explore some different compositions and shoot a little later in the day say during the "golden hour", experiment with silhouettes and vignettes. It's tough but try and tell a story about whats happening beyond the regular "dirt bike shot". Maybe get a little of the landscape in the back or foreground, maybe make the viewer have to look a little harder to find the subject. Check out some of the stuff on transworld motox and what not to see they do.

BTW how the hell did you get into Metz's compound?

Thanks, I just grabbed a couple quick ones to post. Check out the link. I am friends with a guy who rides there. Mikes a great guy and really looks out for the guys that are trying to get into the sport. He could use some thoughts and best wishes right now though. He took a bad spill at his place.

I wish I could say. I've been in Japan for 3 months now. Haven't got an update since it happened. I know they've set up a fund with "Rider Down". If I hear anything I'll post it.
