#1 The golden lining to the hat adds something to the pic which makes it stand out.
#2 The chair is distracting but love the picture anyway
#3 I like how the eye of the pup is in sharp focus, despite the fact that you manually focussed.
In short, you are a star. :thumbup:
I wish I could shoot like that.

Very nice shots. I like the last one the most, it shows more emotion and action than the others. I am getting that same lens later today too.

Sorry rateeg, I didn't see your post. Settings were: ISO 400, f/1.8, 1/1250 sec.
Now that I look at the settings, I realize they don't make much sense. For some reason I had an exposure bias of -1.3 which might be why I raised the ISO. And of course I was shooting wide open with the new lens, but should've gone to 2.8 at least.
