I like the shot of the tower, but the large bush annd the buildings on the right are distracting. Perhaps you could move to the right? Is the angle there usable?

What I should do to get the blurred background? The problem is that if I put the camera in macro mode, the red and white car will appear a little blurred too, and I want it appears clearly, so...
Another thing is that those photos are taken with a compact digital camera, so I can't do a lot of variations in the options, you know.

You're right. To get the building blurred at these distances the second beetle will be somewhat blurred also. I was thinking more like (assuming the other car and green thing aren't there): The front one is sharp and we probably know it's a beetle. The second one would be somewhat blurred but still recognizable as a beetle (also making it easier to recognize the front one). Everything beyond it is too blurred to distract our attention.

Again, I'm only trying to visualize what could be and to think about the shot. I'm not suggesting that all this is under your control, but if it was...
