All of the following were taken with my rebel XTi in manual and shot in raw, then processed with photoshop cs3 or cs5(depending on how long ago I took them). Lenses varied.

Feel free to give me tips on how to improve them, some of them are older and my PP skills were greatly lacking

Nice shots, some are excellent. You posted too many to give individual comments to each but in general I'd give you three points:

Try to isolate the subject from the background when the background is not too interesting, you can achieve this by shooting the subject further from the background and using wider apertures;
Don't cut off limbs of animals and watch your subject positioning within the frame; and
Ensure your horizon is level.

I think your people shots are best.
Good work.

That sure is a buncha' photos...

I know, I went a little overboard, I just started going and selecting some of my favorites, and got a bit carried away.

Thank you so much for the compliments, I'm very critical of my work, so it's really nice to hear that they don't stink(like I often feel they do). I usually don't shot people(unless they're on a horse :-P ) because I'm kinda awkward around people I don't know, but my cousin wanted to create a modeling portfolio so I said I would do a shoot for her.

Thank you for the helpful tips, It drives me crazy when I cut limbs off.

I really enjoy shooting horse shows, but have a lot of trouble getting the focus as sharp as I want, I feel I have to use a smaller aperture to get the image sharp enough, but then the background is too much in focus and distracting. I'm finding it to be very challenging to say the least.

Way too many... as stated above...

Screaming Cat is da best.

Thank you, I didn't expect anyone to critique them all, I just figured someone would scroll through them and comment on some of the better or worse ones and say why they were good or bad. I really didn't intend on posting quite so many :oops: I didn't even realize just how many it was until the first person commented

I find when you want the best critiquing put up 1-3 images of the best images you think you got from a set.

I agree that the ones of your cousin are some of your best. Now you have an excuse to try more people shots. I was ackward with people too, still am :wink:. After time and practice it does get easier to engage them. I really like your dog photos as well.
