Just wanted to mention that yes the blurry car in #7 is intentional. No need to point out it's blurry. Also, yes, the tilted horizon in #3, 4, and 7 is also intentional. Hope that saves at least one person some typing time. Lastly, yes, the white balance is off and that too is intentional. I like that look. Your mileage may vary. ;)

My C&C:
#1 - funny object doesn't make a good photo
#2 - cool. love the depth. is the bird for real? because it makes the photo cheesy. maybe a tick too dark top right.
#3 - like the perspective, object and composition.
#4 - cool. too dark top left and bottom left
#5 - = #1
#6 - i am looking for a story in it (old person annoyed by hectic city), but the photo doesn't bring that across really. eventually, it really doesn't bring a lot across although the composition, colors and objects are nice.
#7 - doesn't do anything for me.

So, what you're really saying is that you don't really want critique? :lmao:

No, not at all. If it makes you feel better about yourself to point out the obvious, knock yourself out. :) :) :)

Seriously, I think some people look at photos and if they're not perfectly exposed in every way, it's wrong. Sort of like taking points off a Salvador Dali painting because he put both eyes on the same side of the face or taking points off Monet because his painting is blurry. :) They seem to have little understanding of the nuances of art. Which is fine by me, but I wanted to save them time typing. ;)

#3 & #4 are my favorite!!! I love the composition! I love the lighting! Nice job!

In #3, I would just try to lighten the dogs face just a little bit to see more of the eyes.

#7 is cool, but I think something in the picture should be in focus. Whether it's the house, the parked car, or the lines on the road. I don't mind the motion of the moving car, but IMO it would look better if something was focused. =P

Nice job over all!! =)

Thanks. In #7 that "parked" car is doing like 40 miles an hour. ;)

I really like the shot of the dog?

The shot of the dog is really great. For me, its thought provoking. I love the angle on the shot and the stress you can see in the dogs "body language."
I'm a sucker for landscapes, and 2 is well done, so I like that as well.
And I'm not sure why, but I'm a fan of 5 as well. Its just an interesting shot.
The others dont really do it for me.
Nice work!

Aside from a few minor complaints, I love #6. There's a lot of emotion in that one, and the desaturated PP effect really works for it. Complaints being, the guy blocking the frame on the right, the bike in front of him, the woman's feet out of the shot.

Lots of these are good, but I think that's my favorite. I don't think you belong in the beginner forum anymore. ;)

HAHA!!! Sorry, looks almost parked, but I see the wheels moving now that you mentioned that! =P
