sorry if i its sounds a bit thick but im a total newbie to this so pardon my ignorance -

1. what is the max size of Jpeg that can be be uploaded?
2. how can i be sure that my photos wont be used by someone else on here? is there a way to put a label on photos or copyright protect them?

You can watermark your images during the post processing but honestly around here you don't really need it. The vast majority around here are professionals in one way or another and the general consensus is definitely against copyright infringement and theft of intellectual property.

For a normal member, like you or I the max upload size is 1mb, IIRC. Supporting members (those who donate money to help cover the operations cost) have a higher limit.

Edit to add: As a new member you might want to pay attention to where you post and make sure your posts are in the right area. A mod will most likely move this thread as it doesn't have anything to do with HDR photography.
