The street is still boring

The series of the dog are very nice. Sharp and good DOF.....and they tell a story indeed.
The moonshot is nice, but I have seen better. It has some CA around the edges

I just cant grasp the whole CA thing!! i was told on another thread that one of my pictures had some and I looked up what it was and even looked at side by side comparisons. I think tomorrow is CA day. I am going to research it until I cant stand it anymore so that I will understand it and can do whatever needs to be done to prevent/rid myself of it. Thanks for the C&C!

i agree that the street scene still turned out boring... at the time it seemed like a good idea

Cute dog! Damn he is cute.

As for the CA, I can guarantee it's the lens you used. Let us know what it was.

Clyde thanks you for the compliments!

As for the CA i have had it happen with two different lenses. Is it a lens quality issue??

one of my pictures that was taken with my pentax DA-L 55-300mm f/4-5.8 was noted to have CA

and these pics were with an old (early 80's??) smc pentax-m 50mm f/2

body is a pentax kx

could filters create this effect?? both were shot using UV filters...

Bad quality UV filters?

There's an easy way to test if the filters are the problem. Take them off and reshoot.

I would say that the C/A would not be caused by the 50mm lens. After a few minutes of research, people have only good things to say about it. I'm going only on other people's opinions of it however, I've never personally used it.
