I really don't like any of them but hey when I started out mine were the same. (some still are) But it is good to try, learn and explore.

I am curious about #4. It looks dull lifeless and flat but it has a prominent shadow? How is that?

Thank you for your response. Could you maybe elaborate on why you don't like any of them.
No.4 is shot with in one hand my analog camera and in the other my flash which normally sits in the hot shoe. But now I triggered it myself while taking the picture, so it was an "all manual sync" which sort of failed. I pointed the flash on a white wall which reflected the light on the typewriter. This gives the weird lighting.
