The weather was pretty decent that day. All I had was a point and click at the time though, so the quality isn't that great.

For good C&C, limit it to two (3 at the most, 1 is even better) photos.

#1 needs to be sharper. Tripod? Try cropping the bottom third.

#2 is nice. I would like it better if the church was straight. Also, the background tree breaks the picture in half at the wrong place (maybe it's just me). Maybe if you moved a little left???

I really like #3. Maybe with a shallower DOF to make the background less noticeable???

I agree with number 1. Although, I had no tripod with me and it was just a point and click set on automatic. That's how all of these were taken actually. I was taking these when I realized how much I started like photography and have recently got a Canon, so I'm sure this summer's Duke Garden's pics will be a lot better. :thumbup:

Well, don't wait 'til summer to get more shots. Takes some now and post your best. Put your thick skin on and ask what's wrong. It’s the fastest way to learn. - TF
