Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
C & C welcome as always. expectantly on composition and editing (I also posted the originals for this purpose)

As you can see i went with a darker edit in both cases, I don't know how to explain this choice other then "it felt right"

The first is an image of the date on the bridge I was trying to take some landscape pictures from.

Second, I just found this interesting....

In both cases, I think that the original is better than the edit. The first, the crop/perspective correction makes gives the subject little breathing space and in both cases you've made them too dark IMO. Perhaps you were going for something gritty, but the result is plugged shadows, and especially in the first, over sharpening.

I enjoy the subject in the second, but feel that there isn't enough going for it, and the stick seems distracting - as if pointing outward the frame. The dark portion to the right does not frame so much as it draws attention as there is so little content present.

In the first I likewise question the angle chosen, and can't help but feel it would be better taken head-on. This image isn't so much about perspective, but rather about the date and emblem.
