Wonderful light! I think you did a nice job capturing the feel of the annual trip to the patch. I love how you have the kids positioned to use the setting sun as a rim light.

Thank you. Yeah I like the way the light caught it.

That's a wonderful series. Your daughter looks like one happy kid, and the boys look like they're having fun. You got some really nice compositions with beautiful color.

Looking at them again, my only nit would be maybe to have considered the vantage point and the sign in the background in some, it's not too noticeable but probably you don't ideally want it to appear too close to the subject's head. The one with Market in the background is done nicely.

And I can't help but say, I'm glad to see the little one on the ground and not up on, whatever; my background is working as an EI Specialist with birth to 3 and I've been seeing some baby posing lately that isn't exactly the most appropriate. I enjoyed seeing these.

+1

In general, I prefer the unposed as opposed to posed shots. But it is much harder to get unposed and still participate in the family outing. (Family outings and photography don't mix well.) #1 (posed) is my fav followed by #15 and #13.

I don't have a problem with posing, if you can get them sitting long enough to take a picture before they plot their escape and try to crawl away! it's some of the poses with young babies particularly that are being used, I didn't mean elementary school kids.

A few others of my best friends Daughter in my front yard. Kind of a quick 20min snap off before dinner.
