Sometimes taking the creepy back alley is worth it.

So I went for a walk the other day after work in the freezing cold to get some pictures. I have never went for a walk after work or in this part of town before so it was kind of nice. Now when I walk I try not to stay on the main roads or anything, usually that is. Well this time I went behind a really rundown motel and down an old alley back behind the businesses and such and stumbled upon this old building. People had dumped old beds, couches and trash all over the place by this building. It was trashy and looked like a great place to get stabbed. Well good thing it was daytime and I got a few shots and got out. This one turned out to be one of my favorites shots of 2017! Enjoy!

Also first post here so excited to get to know you all!!

Seems like a good subject for Holga.

Welcome! Cool shot! It sounds like you had a nice photo walk.

I like how the building is framed by two trees, one on either side, both without leaves. Really helps the mood!

I'm a sucker for a creepy alley, the creepier, the better.

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

They are hard to ignore that's for sure. I love going places I probably shouldn't be haha

I'ts on my project list... Alleys in the Hood, I'm half way through, probably finish in spring or summer. It's too flipping cold right now.

Nice image, I like the pp.. however I think it needs the geometry looking at, to my eye its seems to fall back somewhat..
