Somewhat offtopic, but a question about wide angle lenses in general

I have a Sony DCR-SR82 camcorder, and do not know which wide angle lens to get for it. I am hoping someone can help me make a decision based off of the information here. The camcorder has a 30 mm lens.

Sunpak - .5x wide angle, 2 elements in 2 groups
