Sony NEX F-3 or Nikon D3100

I am finally making the switch from a point and shoot. I have found two cameras I am really interested in, the mirror less Sony NEX F-3 and the Nikon D3100. I am a beginner on photography. I plan on mostly doing wildlife shots (especially birds) with (a telephoto lens) , sports photography (just a local softball feild/ no super zoom needed), and some macro shots. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think the LENS situation favors the SONY.
