Just found an article/picture gallery on my local news website that they announced the finalists in the Sony World Photo Awards (Is a few weeks old April 15th)

Just thought I'd post this link to the gallery so people could check them out

Iit does appear that It's actually finished now according to the actual site - which has the winners listed.

Wow . Whats really interesting to me is how some of them totally knock my socks off and some of them I'm jsut like 'that? that's it?'. Thank you for sharing that link!

I agree. Some really nice/good shots and some I totally don't get.

like you two above me - some good shots some nice, some interesting and some that just made little or no sense
(and one or two - that last in particular) that seemed to be to be a tad constructed for a photography award - possibly or it might just be me at 3am

Yeah there's a few 'different' ones - There's quite a few I really like also

yeah that one creeped me and a few other people out...

probably the weirdest one.

i also like the nude female shot. the lighting on that is great imo.

something about the water drop speaks to me too

there are a handful of decent shots but some are just like "uhh...what?"
