What do you think of this lighting setup? I think that I just may get it. I will trade out the umbrella and get one of my own that isnt gold. I figure, everyone has to start somewhere and this doesnt seem too bad at all to start.

It ain't THAT bad, but it'll limit you to specific location. If you need to light up a large room and use these units as room-lights, you'll need more power or boost your iso or open the lens wider.
By the way, How is Sigma 18-50?

I didnt plan on using them to light a whole room, only for portraits and such with use of the backdrops.

I love the Sigma. Keep in mind that I do not have the HSM or Macro versions. Mine is just the EX DC D. It is tack sharp for the most part and an excellent performer. Its a pain to get on and off of the camera because there is nowhere to actually hold the lens while you twist it off. The focus is a bit loud due to lack of HSM. It feels like it is build very well. Performs great, even wide open. I compared it to the Nikon 18-70mm and I found this to be the superior lens. CA and distortion were both much worse with the Nikon. I like it.

thanks on feedback.

Also, will these fire my SB-600? I believe they should..If that is the case, I will not fret abut the 110ws not having a series of color gels.

sb600 can be fired through hotshoe adapter or Nikon's wireless. There is a DIY video on installing pc socket into sb600. Google it

So, I guess what Im asking is when I put the wireless trigger in the hot shoe, that will not act as a remote for the SB-600?
