The last few outings these guys have been all around me in the swamp but have been very elusive always staying in the reeds and brush.
Today I picked a spot out in the water where I could hear at least three of them around me. I stood still as a statue and after about an hours wait this guy came shyly out for me.
Here's proof persistence pays off

aha! Definatly worth waiting for! Very clear and sharp shots and a wonderful low angle as well!
One thing you might look to is increasing the frame of the birds now - its often much better in a shot to have a little more space in the direction that the bird (or animal) is heading/facing.
Number 2 is technically the best of the set I think - a perfectly sharp eye!
All in all though a great set of shots!
